Nonsurgical Hair Replacement - The Only Way To A Natural Look

Finding craft and activities that interest our senior citizens, who have limited capabilities (and these too, vary within a group) is not an easy task.

I'm a good sport and so I went to the scrapbook party. The gal giving the demonstration had a demo album. Inside were lots adhesive tapes of pictures all beautifully arranged. Everyone was oohing and ahhing. Me, I was remembering those stick figures I was so good at drawing.

Generally LED lighting strips are also widely referred to as ribbons or DOUBLE SIDED SELF ADHESIVE TAPES. LED is attached to the length of these strips. It can be spliced at certain cut points into any length you require. The backing is versatile and can be utilized on straight edges and curves. Additionally its thin nature allows it to be hidden away perfectly for display cases, recessed and subtle lighting setups.

I made HEADSTONES, picked up a sack of dirt and made the kids find old stuffed animals I could toss once the party was over. We wrapped a toad in toilet paper for a mummy, dug a hole and buried an animal except for his arm, used the rabbit ears off a rabbit headband costume so the ears would just stick out of the ground and cut holes in a teddy bear and pulled some stuffing out to make him into a zombie. On the gravestones, we wrote very silly epithets.

Throughout the hallway, I took rubber bats (another $1.00 store find) and stuck them double sided tapes with a needle and black thread so they would hang. Since I wanted some bats lower than others for the kids to walk though, I needed to find a way to hang them without thumb tacks. So double sided tape again!! That way if they fell out, no one would get hurt. You could also use the same tactic with plastic spiders, ghosts or any other decoration.

Note: We used just one piece of painter's tape to make sure the front end was where it needed to be. If you want absolute precise alignment we recommend placing the tape over the front of the shark fin in two - three pieces in a triangular configuration.

The beauty behind this DIY Mother's Day gift is that it is cheap, an old unused calendar magnet, a few square inches of double sided tape and a photo. Also, it can be renewed! Yes, a perpetual gift, each time you have a new up to date photo, you, make a new photo sticker. Walk right up to your mother's fridge and stick that new photo sticker on top of the old one. Is that perfect or what? Mom always has the latest photo on display. When the photo magnet gets to heavy, peel the magnet off the old stickers and start over again.
